What is Vetted_?
An exclusive, members-only community for wedding photographers and filmmakers, whose mission is to help like-minded peers secure gigs and land jobs
What does membership look like?
Membership status based on actual experience. While we encourage all levels to apply as we are an inclusive group we also need to acquire a diverse set of experiences and work histories. This membership may have a cap for example or may be invite or referral only. TBD.
Meet peers with the same interests and career focus.
Ask and answer questions - with polls and anonymous surveys to get a better understanding of our group and what to expect from our individual markets as we grow our community.
Transparency about the industry and what we actually make relative to what city we live in.
Unbiased education opportunities specifically curated for wedding photographers and filmmakers.

What Vetted_ isn’t.
A place to critique our imagery and films or to seek validation for our work. While we value constructive feedback, this isn't the space for boasting or seeking approval. If you're looking for that, there are plenty of other Facebook groups available.
Vetted_ is specifically designed to inspire growth and action!
It's a platform to take action and to keep the momentum going!
We believe in learning through action; improvement comes from doing.
Lastly, this group is not a safe space for gatekeepers.
Instead, Vetted_ members are encouraged to thrive by sharing their knowledge and experiences, empowering others to learn through active engagement.
Membership continues only if you adhere to our rules of conduct, which include maintaining an open mind, taking chances on others, and occasionally being vulnerable, recognizing the challenges we face in this industry.
Additionally, members are "vetted" bi-annually by someone you may have worked with or had active communication with within the group. Your contributions and collaborations will be acknowledged and recorded.
Authentic relationships are at the heart of our membership.
What is the goal of Vetted_?
To foster community!
To create a safe space for wedding image documenters and creators to overcome the limiting belief that we are all competing with each other. We aren’t, you guys! There is enough work for all of us to accomplish our goals, especially if we help each other by leveling up together!
We have many ideas for what Vetted_ can become, but first, we want to ask you a few questions about what is missing from your professional life right now. What do you need help with? What could make this membership worth investing your time on?
